Spirit Mask Series View this Collection . . . The Spirit Mask, in many cultures, is a dwelling place for a spirit; created with knowledge of what the spirit is waiting to occupy or it might simply attract a spirit once it is made.  Chris creates his Spirits Masks so that the personalities (the spirit) can come into each piece and complete it. Chris says that he leaves the finished masks in his studio over night and when he returns in the morning the personality has come into each one.   The masks, one of kind wall hangings, are fabricated with patina on copper and reclaimed steel. Once the patina is complete, Chris etches the face out, adds petroglyph symbols and then seals the face. All the Spirit Masks are one of kind collectibles, signed and numbered on the back.  Collected world wide, these unique pieces range in size from 3-4” faces to his large masks as big as 12” diameter in the face. Shaman Series View this Collection . . . Chris’ signature Shaman Series brings gardens and homes alive with welcoming, protective and spiritual energy. The Shaman sculptures are made with steel or stainless bodies and brought to life with a Spirit Mask made of steel, copper and patina. The masks are sealed for outdoor or indoor while the bodies of the Shaman will continue to rust and patina with the weather. Shaman simply stake in the ground or are also available on a base or flat for hanging on a wall or column.
